Join us for our first Traditional St. Joseph’s Table!

 

Italians, especially Sicilians, have a special devotion to St. Joseph. According to tradition, during a severe famine in Sicily, families prayed for his intercession, and when their prayers were answered with an abundant harvest, they honored him with a great feast. This tradition, known as the St. Joseph’s Table, continues today as a way to give thanks, celebrate blessings, and share generosity with others.

 

Our St. Joseph’s Table will feature a beautiful altar filled with an array of traditional foods, including breads shaped to symbolize faith, delicious Italian sweets and vibrant displays of fresh vegetables. The evening will be a time of community, faith, and tradition as we gather to celebrate and honor St. Joseph.
